Once a year we put aside a single barrel of our best barrel strength Canefire.

Instead of cutting it down with water, as we do for our other Rums, we use a carefully selected blend of Port from the lush surrounds of the Swan Valley, Western Australia.

Small Batch, as the name suggests, is a limited batch of only 500 bottles per batch.

Each batch is blended down to a flat 40% ACL with a different combination of fortified to ensure each batch is truly unique.

Batch #15 Notes: 3 YR Rum, 10 YR Tawny

Small Batch #15 is blended from 3 year barrel-aged Rum with a 10 year old Tawny Port. We finished it in two hand-selected French oak barrels, one freshly shaved and toasted, the other seasoned with Margaret River Shiraz. This Small Batch stands on the shoulders of our award-winning aged rum selection.

The deepest auburn tones come through in this spirit. Swirling the glass exposes the juicy legs and bold, thick attitude. An oozing crown. Oak forward on the nose, with heavily buttered fruit toast. A striking pallet. Mascarpone, fig and honey with a prickling crawl. Rich sweetness gives way to flint and splintered wood. A viscosity that melts in your mouth. Small batch #15 will leave you with a lingering shimmer on the tongue.
