Welcome to the home of Canefire, the spirit of Western Australia
Canefire is a unique spirit. Even though it is made from a rum like brew of sugar (called a patch) it is not harsh like rum which uses molasses.
Canefire started as sugar cane growing in the Ord River Valley around Kununurra in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It was then harvested and then processed to an unrefined sugar.
Since the Ord River Co-op closure in 2005 Kimberley Rum Company has sourced quality Australian sugar from all over the country and ferments, distills and matures it at their Swan Valley Great Northern Distillery.
Kimberley Rum Company takes Australian sugar and brews it with high quality yeasts. A good brew takes time and Canefire is brewed longer than any other spirit.
Canefire has been developed, as well as grown, owned, made and bottled in Western Australia.
