We don't have a great amount of Canefire No 14 so we've only entered it once in a blind tasting spirit competition. At the 2018 Global World Spirits competition in Las Vegas. Unsurprisingly, It was awarded the Double Gold Medal.

Dark and rumbling characteristics. Dark chocolate and Szechuan pepper are present on the nose and the front of the pallet.

Thick caramel tones blended with juicy red grape carry the middle of this rum, providing the through line for hints of leather, cigar box, and bay leaf to leap off of.

Where you would expect the spirit to get deep at the end, Canefire No.14 gives a surprising twist and swoops up to finish on floral notes of lilac and lavender.
